I found this book to be one of those you can't put down, and I was
disappointed when I came to the end of it! It was fascinating to get an
insight into life in the real "out-back" in the mountains of British
Columbia as recently as 1950! Not a bit like the Mounties in Rose Marie!
Denise McKay is a remarkable author
